<\/p>\n

The team at the \"Merkuri\" Association recognizes that achieving sustainable change is impossible without working with young people, and therefore, the well-being and development of children, adolescents, and youth are among our organization\u2019s key priorities.<\/p>\n

The \"Merkuri\" Association has been working with youth since 2007 when, alongside our projects, an educational center was established where children from vulnerable groups could receive both formal and non-formal education. Over the years, the \"Merkuri\" team has voluntarily organized thematic meetings, celebrated significant dates with engaging events (such as International Children\u2019s Day, Youth Day, Earth Day, Human Rights Day, World AIDS Day, etc.), and organized scientific conferences, seminars, and training sessions for students.<\/p>\n

Since 2014, foreign volunteers (through the European Voluntary Service) have been working with the organization. Our volunteers were instrumental in establishing a culture of non-formal education focused on young people within \"Merkuri\" and initiated many engaging activities.<\/p>\n

Since 2016, the \"Merkuri\" Association has been sending Georgian youth abroad to various European countries through volunteer programs.<\/p>\n

A significant part of the \"Merkuri\" Association's international projects is youth-oriented.<\/p>\n

Association Merkuri supports the development of youth work in the Samegrelo region and the establishment of the youth worker profession. Our work includes advocating for youth issues at the local and national levels, participating in the discussion of legislative initiatives, and providing recommendations to governing bodies.<\/p>\n

The primary target groups of our youth direction are:<\/p>\n

- Youth with social and economic vulnerability (socially disadvantaged, young people from single-parent families, those with experiences of violence, etc.)<\/p>\n

Youth living in rural areas, displaced individuals, and those residing in occupied territories<\/p>\n

- Young people aged 10\u201321 residing in Zugdidi municipality.<\/p>\n

- Children and adolescents (ages 4-18) can access our Family Support Center services, where they receive consultations with specialists on legal, psychological, or social issues<\/span> <\/em>related to violence and participate in various thematic seminars and workshops.<\/p>\n

Our youth worker offers regular activities based on the interests and needs of target youth groups, fostering their development.<\/p>\n

Activities include summer and winter schools, various themed clubs, training sessions, film screenings, meetings with inspiring individuals, and participation in local and international projects.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
